Surfing Lessons and Rentals
Moana Surf School was the first ever surf school on Guincho beach. Moana Surf School has had students from six to seventy years old. Surfing was Moana Adventures first activity and due to its success in terms of safety and enjoyment Moana Adventure has been able to expand with other new activities. Surfing is a great sport and it is the main reason why Alex and the Moana team live in Portugal . Enjoy these pictures and come and learn to surf, improve or find new places to surf.
Surfing Courses
Each class is one to one and half hours long. All equipment is provided. Minimum age is 6 years old (classes with 6-10 year olds are either private or a maximum of two kids at the same time with two instructors.). Instructors are highly experienced and speak: English, German and Spanish. Maximum students in one class would be Six.
The courses and activities listed here can be modified to suit personal or group needs. Moana surf school will try to be as flexible as possible to peoples needs whilst ensuring the maximum standard of safety. Advanced courses and prices are made when requirements are known. From total beginner to advanced if you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting us and we will get straight back to you.
Private classes 35 euros for one hour. Recommended for very young kids. Also recommended if you are very nervous about being in the sea. Private Classes also mean you will get more attention and should improve rapidly.
Equipment:
All equipment is provided throughout the courses, and if interested in buying equipment you should remember that appropriate equipment for your requirements is essential. We have a wide range of new and second hand equipment for sale. All you need to do is ask and we will give you our best advice.
